A powerful, innovative tool for building English language skills for all ages.
Based on research on how the brain functions, SeeUSay utilizes techniques proven to increase effectiveness when learning speech and word recognition.
See U Says innovative assistive technology uses a multi-sensory approach (visual, auditory, and kinestetic) with an emphasis on articulation to teach the alphabetic principle, phonemic awareness, phonological awareness, and sight/irregular words.
> Includes the 44 sounds of the English Language
> Complete Dolch sight word lists broken down by level
The application acts as an instructor modeling the mouth position of the sounds and sight words.
The user sees the sound or word in text form, then uses his or her finger to tap on the text of the letter(s) or word in order to hear and see the word said.
The front facing camera is used to act as a mirror, so a user can record and see him or herself. The user can then take his or her recording, and compare it to the instructor modeling the sound or word in the patent pending See U Say view.
Sessions can be saved for later review or assessment.
